DESCRIPTION:You care for everyone else. Let us care for you.\nWhen you are overwhelmed by caring for an aging parent\, spouse or older loved one\, taking an hour for yourself can feel impossible\, but it is exactly what you need to keep going. \nThe group is for caregivers or adult children of loved ones in long-term care and will provide: \n\nA Supportive Space: Connect with others who truly “get it.”\nPractical Tools: Learn from one another while navigating the challenges associated with having a loved one with chronic illness\, dementia\, placement in a facility setting\, or a similar circumstances.\nExpert Guidance: Facilitated by Barry Davis\, LCSW-R\, a licensed clinician dedicated to supporting caregivers.\n\nThis group meets on the third Thursday of each month and is offered in a hybrid format\, both in-person AND virtually. \n\nIn-Person: Daughters of Sarah Community for Seniors\, Founders Room\, 180 Washington Ave Ext.\nVirtual: Zoom\n\nRegister online here.\n\nThis program is in partnership with: \n
