Nanette joined the JFS team in 2020. Prior to working for JFS, she launched a private practice which addressed the mental health needs of the homebound population. She had worked in a variety of settings in NYC including pediatrics, rehab inpatient, and outpatient home health agencies. After moving to Albany, she taught music classes for preschoolers, and was a music specialist at the Center for Disability Services and at the Whispering Pines preschool.
Nanette received a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from NYU and is trained in teaching an early childhood program called Music Together. In her free time, she volunteers at local not-for profits and embraces time with family and friends. Having a wide range of interests is what sparked her desire to engage the minds of individuals of all ages.
