Nanette joined the JFS team in 2020. Her career began in NYC where she worked in rehab at UCP Nassau County, Bellevue Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and Cabrini Home Health Agency. Upon moving to Albany, she directed Music Together of Albany and later brought it to the Center for Disability Services and to Whispering Pines Preschool, using music as a therapeutic tool.
As her parents aged, Nanette realized that the homebound population is an underserved and valuable part of society. She refined her skills in mental health and embarked on a private practice solely focusing on quality of life. This eventually led to her becoming part of the JFS team.
Nanette received a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from NYU and became certified to teach Music Together. an early childhood music program. She enjoys gardening, the arts, reading, learning, and spending time with her family and community.
