We seek a Development & Events Manager to join our compassionate, collaborative team to lead fundraising and other events, donor engagement, and development operations.
Location: Albany, NY
Reports to: President & CEO
Salary: $68,640–$79,040 per year

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute fundraising events, including budgeting, timelines, sponsorships, and logistics
- Develop sponsorship packages and manage sponsor relationships
- Support annual campaigns and appeals
- Maintain donor records and manage donor stewardship
- Track fundraising performance and prepare reports
- Draft donor communications and event materials in coordination with team
- Coordinate vendors and volunteers for events
- Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective execution
- Represent JFS in community as appropriate and coordinated
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit development or event management
- Proven success with fundraising events and sponsorships
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Proficiency with donor databases and Microsoft Office
- Experience with email marketing and event registration tools preferred

Schedule
Full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week, with occasional evenings and weekends for events. Hybrid work flexibility with in-person event support required.
