Clara serves as a Senior Resource Specialist at JFS, where she supports Holocaust survivors by providing care management, emergency financial assistance, and health care advocacy. Her work builds on many years of connecting with older adults through Jewish programming in long-term care facilities and throughout the community. Clara joined the JFS staff in early 2020 after serving several terms on the organization’s Board of Directors.
Passionate about working in the field of aging and providing direct service to clients, Clara earned her Master of Social Work from the SUNY School of Social Welfare and her Bachelor’s degree in Community and Human Services from Empire State College.
Outside of work, Clara and her husband enjoy spending time with their large family as proud parents and grandparents. Clara loves meeting and connecting with people, walking in nature, playing the recorder, learning new languages, and exploring her curiosity about the world around her.
