LaShaunda, an Albany native, earned her undergraduate degree from SUNY Buffalo State and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work at Howard University in Washington, D.C. with a focus on supporting and strengthening families. She has served for the past two years as a Prevention Family Specialist at Together For Youth, where she provides direct support to children and caregivers through family-centered interventions and community engagement. Her work reflects a deep commitment to advocacy, empowerment, and holistic care.

Beyond her professional role, LaShaunda volunteers and coaches for Nanny’s Double Dutch League, combining mentorship with movement to inspire youth. She brings vibrant energy to everything she does, with personal passions that include dancing, singing, and shopping.
