The Well-Being Workshop

A 5-Week Journey of Connection & Discovery
Winter can feel long, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Join us for a unique, small-group series designed to help you stay active, connected, and inspired.
This isn’t your typical “craft” group. Through hands-on activities, we explore the things that matter most: health, memory, and resilience. Whether you are “crafty” or haven’t picked up a pair of scissors in years, you belong here.
A Supportive Duo for a Better Experience
We provide a “brave space” where everyone can participate comfortably:
- Occupational Therapy (Jamie Berger): Provides non-judgmental guidance and adaptive tools for those with physical challenges or hand fatigue.
- Social Work (Kaitlyn Wooley): Offers emotional support and facilitates meaningful conversation as we navigate deep topics together.
The 5-Week Series
- Jan 18: Healthy Living & Winter Safety – An interactive “Wellness Bingo” to share tips on physical and mental well-being.
- Jan 25: Traditions & Light – A discussion on culture and holidays while we hand-craft beeswax candles.
- Feb 1: Honoring Your Story – A session for reflection and memory-sharing through a personalized collage.
- Feb 8: Building Your Resilience Toolbox – Create a tangible “toolbox” of coping strategies and calming sensory items.
- Feb 15: The Gift of Gratitude – Discover how expressing gratitude can shift your outlook through the art of letter writing.
This series is for adults 60+. A minimum of five participants is needed for group to run. Capacity is 10. To build a strong community, we ask that you plan to attend all five sessions.
