JFS Announces the Miriam Adler Family Life Education Series

Families today have questions: How do I cope with my aging parent? What should I do if my child is being bullied? How can I help a loved one who is in an abusive relationship?
JFS is launching the new JFS Miriam Adler Family Life Education Series designed to strengthen and empower families through workshops and discussions on issues affecting all stages of family life. Miriam’s 25 year history of working at JFS and serving families and individuals in the Capital Region gives her the experience and compassion to understand today’s families. She will play an active role in guiding the topics for upcoming lectures, which will be open to all members of the community.
The first seminar addresses Trends in Successful Aging and Caregiving. Presented by Dr. Zvi Gellis, Director of the Center for Mental Health & Aging and Professor in the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania. The seminar takes place at 3:00 on October 28, 2012 at the Golub Center in Albany. For registration information, please call 518-482-8856 or email info@jfsneny.org.
