The fast pace of technology developments leaves many of us in the dust. We all see the slick tv ads touting the virtues and almost magical qualities of particular products. Do I want a laptop? desktop? tablet? Ipad? smartphone? How do I know the difference, and what is best for my needs? After deciding which to get, many of us are overwhelmed by all of the uses for our device. Should I pay bills on line? What is an excel spreadsheet? How do I keep up with my grandchildren? What is an app anyway and why do I care?
NNORC has partnered with MicroKnowledge to help you answer these and other questions by offering a 3 session basic computer information and skills workshop series. Come learn how you can take the best advantage of the technology available. No computer is required for this program, but feel free to bring your tablet, laptop or Ipad if you like.
