Dara serves as the Director of Clinical Services at Jewish Family Services and has over 10 years of experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, helping clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and practical support. She has been a member of the Jewish Family Services team for the past three years and is committed to creating a supportive, collaborative environment where clients can build resilience, develop new skills, and create meaningful change.
Dara’s approach is grounded in evidence-based and insight-oriented practices, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet each person’s unique needs and goals. She has advanced training in trauma-informed care and has completed Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) training.
Dara earned her Master of Social Work from the University at Albany School of Social Welfare and her MBA from SUNY Oswego.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, daughter, and four-legged children. When Dara’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her riding her horse, hiking, or enjoying the outdoors.
