May is High Blood Pressure Prevention Month!  High Blood Pressure (Hypertension) is a “silent” illness that can lead to strokes and heart attacks, as well as rob you of good health.  Help yourself to better health by attending this program.
During this workshop, NNORC Nurse Pat Gumson, RN, and NNORC Community Outreach Coordinator, Michelle Dannenhoffer-Cau will explore causes of high blood pressure, including dietary and genetic factors that can lead to this condition. We will discuss lifestyle choices to help prevent the illness and manage its symptoms. Small changes in diet and exercise can yield big benefits to your health and wellness.
