Mikaela Ebitz-Linville MPH, BSN, RN is the stroke program coordinator at Albany Medical CenterHer work focuses on preventing stroke and improving stroke patient outcomes in the Capital District through quality initiatives, patient education, and advocacy.  Come learn about the warning signs for stroke and learn when you should call 911.

Join Professors Archana Krishnan and Patricia Gettings, from the Department of Communication at the University at Albany, SUNY, as they talk through the basics of AI – including what AI is and how it works, how it can benefit you, and how to be an informed AI user. Come learn more about how AI may already be impacting your everyday life! There will be time for Q&A, too, so you can have your burning AI questions answered. 

Dr. Krishnan studies health and computer-mediated communication. She was a 2025-2026 Research Fellow at The AI & Society Research Center.  Dr. Gettings’ research explores organizational and interpersonal communication, with a focus on aging experiences.

Traditional mat class will walk you through a range of poses, breathwork and a closing relaxation. Bring your own mat, yoga ties, props, and a bottle of water. 

Free for NNORC residents. $5 per class for non-NNORC residents.
